How it works

We're building this process with you — not at you.

Here's how a typical conversation with Pathworks unfolds. Every situation is different, but the approach is always the same: honest, unhurried, and focused on fit.

01

Initial conversation with Stacey

No pressure, no sales pitch. Just an honest discussion about your practice, your goals, and whether there's a potential fit. Stacey's job isn't to close you — it's to understand you. If there's alignment worth exploring, we'll say so. If there isn't, we'll say that too.

02

Mutual discovery

If the initial conversation feels right, we'll take time to go deeper. We want to understand your book, your clients, your investment philosophy, and what kind of support would actually make a difference in your practice. This isn't a due diligence checklist — it's a real conversation about fit.

03

Meeting the Pathworks team

If there's alignment, we'll introduce you to Pathworks leadership and give you a real look at how the firm operates — how we work together, how decisions get made, what the culture actually feels like. You'll have the chance to ask the hard questions.

04

Defining the fit

Together, we'll map out what joining Pathworks would look like for your specific practice. There's no one-size-fits-all model here. We want to understand what you need — and be honest about what we can and can't provide. If the structure makes sense, we'll document it together.

05

Onboarding & transition support

We walk alongside you through every step of the transition: licensing, platform setup, client communication strategy, and launch. We've done this before. We know where the friction is, and we'll help you navigate it. Your clients will be in good hands throughout.

A note on timing: The timeline varies by situation. Some advisors move through this process in a few weeks; others take months. We don't rush it. Getting the fit right matters more than moving fast — for you, for us, and most importantly, for your clients.
